maybe we're not better after all

Reading this article, got me, depressingly, thinking that maybe we're not better after all. Maybe we're just better at hiding the stuff we don't want to see. I really am someone who tries to be an optimist but I have to admit there are times I wonder if it's deserved.

As I often say, has the world changed or is it just MY world that has changed.

Probably a little of one and a lot of the other.
